History

Established in 2006.

Mioposto is located across the street from the Olmstead-designed Mt Baker Park in a historic building built in 1925. With large windows and an open-air patio, the original Mioposto calls to mind the quaint, bustling cafes that line the streets of Europe's major cities. Breakfast is made to order seven days a week, Mio encourages "brunching" by offering our morning favorites until 3 pm. With dishes ranging from the sweet and savory Panenata to the Israeli-inspired Shakshuka, there is something for everyone. Though Mioposto offers a selection of wines, local beers, and unique cocktails, pizza is truly the star. Blistered in a locally crafted, 1,200-degree wood-fired oven, Mioposto's crust provides the vehicle for the finest ingredients we can source. The result is dynamic pies with innovative toppings.

I live 4 blocks from Mioposto's original location. We visit often both with and without our kids...and occasionally, our black lab!Besides the restaurant business, being a husband & a dad I still find time play guitar, run...and eat! We take pride in being a local business in Seattle and appreciate the support the community has shown all four of Mioposto's locations.
