- Meda Kessler: 360West 8/2012A Fort Worth native- the 46 yr old single mom worked in the corporate world before she traded in her suits for jeans and t-shirts, and board meetings for driving around a refrigerated truck around Texas. "My parents cooked, and I learned from them. Everyone loved my enchiladas but didn't want to take the time to make the sauces themselves, and the only options came in cans. I thought I could do better."With a bit of seed money, she launched Enchiladas Ole, a line of ancho chile and tomatillo enchilada sauces. She made her first sale (two) years to Roy Pope Grocery. By September 2011, she left her corporate job permanently to dedicate herself to her food business. Two years later, Mary's enthusiasm hasn't waned and neither has her success. -She opened an extension of her jarred sauces- a restaurant similarly named Enchiladas Ole On the Way- on February 28, 2013 to packed crowds, excited to finally have Mary's famous enchiladas any day of the week.
