History

Established in 2011.

Tibby's was created by New Orleans natives Brian and Chester Wheeler and restaurant industry veteran Camp Fitch--the principal owners of the successful 100-unit Tijuana Flats chain. The restaurant's name pays homage to Brian Wheeler's late uncle Walter "Tibby" Tabony, a New Orleans native who he describes as "the epitome of everything you think of when imagining New Orleans--soulful, lively and energetic."
