Established in 2015.
Terra Gaúcha's first location in Jacksonville, is the fruit of 40 years of combined experience between the 3 owners. The owners, all originally from Brazil have worked through the ranks of several "Churrascarias"(Brazilian Steakhouses) perfecting their skills and gaining knowledge about this uniquely authentic concept.

Born in Rio Grande Do Sul, the pioneer place of the Gaúcho culture in Brazil, Joao Rizzon has spent over 2 decades working and perfecting the art of grilling meats over an open flame. Mr. Rizzon is one of the pioneers of Brazilian steakhouses in the U.S. He was one of the first Gaúcho chefs to bring this unique and exciting concept to America. Now with his first location in Jacksonville, he wishes to keep the authentic flavors and methods he has learned and perfected along the years.
