History
Established in 1987.
Take Away is an offshoot of the famous Joe's Stone Crab Restaurant (established in 1913), Joe's Take Away grew from a demand of the local clientele.
Locals would clamber at the restaurant's back door to get food "to go" and the idea for a Joe's Take Away was born. Following the tradition of the restaurant, the take away provides the same menu and service on which the reputation of Joe's was built, but in a more causal setting. Open now every day 11:30am to 9pm.
