History

Established in 2012.

Owners, Jeff & Celeste began their journey together in 1995 and traveled throughout the Florida keys on their honeymoon.Over the years living in North Florida, they ventured to tiki bars, shops, galleries & waterways. They fished, they drank, and ate from Florida to the Bahamas to the Cayman islands to the Smokey mountains. They shared many happy times with friends & family hosting get togethers at their home in between travels. In 2008, their little fin was born named Ethan Finn. Their journeys slowed down, but certainly did not stop. However, they found a sense of settlement in Dunedin, Fl. and dreamed of their own place to share fish stories, art, bar food, & cold drinks. In 2011,they landed in Safety Harbor and enjoyed walking downtown and sitting out on their own dock watching Ethan Finn fish in the bay. They then knew Safety Harbor was the place to make dreams become reality. March 2012, Bar fly was established, where old friends and new ones can share fish stories and cold drink

Jeff is an avid fly fisherman and has a serious addiction to fishing and sharing it with others. He has been an artist his entire life and now enjoys capturing his favorite game fish species on whatever canvas he chooses. He has spent nearly half his life chasing fish and painting images of  sportfish and enjoys people almost as much as fish when he is not on the water nor in the studio!
