History

Established in 2009.

We started by selling our products to health food stores, but the restaurant that grew from that quickly became our focus. The reaction has been very gratifying and the customer loyalty has been astounding. We pride ourselves on taste first and look to astound our customers.

Rebecca Smith & Ron Russell are co-owner of the famous SunCafe Organic plant-food restaurant in Studio City-Hollywood. Suncafe has received 18 culinary awards including being named 1 of the Top 10 Restaurants in Los Angeles County by OpenTable as well as 1 of the Top Vegan Restaurants in the nation. Suncafe works with Dr. Dean Ornish's UCLA cardiology clinic. Suncafe named the Most Sustainable Restaurant in Los Angeles by the SBCLA.Thousands have taken Ron's classes and he has been featured on a dozen TV shows including Vista LA, ABC News, KTLA, Fox, in addition to the NY Times.For more than 40 years, both Rebeeca and Ron have lived and advocated a healthy, whole foods, vegan lifestyle.
