Business Owner
Elio is a native of Calabria in southern Italy. He is a graduate of the University of Calabria holding a degree in Economics. Elio moved to California in 1995 after graduating university to venture on a new experience of learning English and working in his uncle's restaurant, Piazza D'Angelo, in Marin County, CA. He fell in love with the restaurant business and decided to stay in the US to continue a career as a restauranteur.In 2001 Elio opened his first restaurant, Sapore Italiano, in Burlingame, CA. In 2012 he opened his second restaurant, Piccolo Ristorante Italiano, in Menlo Park, CA.
