GBOD Hospitality Group was founded in 2012 by brothers Raymond & Patrick Davoudi in San Diego with the opening of their first restaurant, Mezé Greek Fusion in the famous Gaslamp District. In 2014, the brothers had an opportunity to move & expand Meze to its current location in East Village. They also added two new partners, Joe Santos who has an extensive background in hospitality management & operations; & Aleko Achtipes, an experienced chef & back-of-house operations manager.
