Meze Greek Fusion is more than just one of the highest rated restaurants in Downtown San Diego. It's a dining experience. On weekends you will see our team leading a traditional dance around the restaurant, and yelling OPA as we light our signature Sagansakis dishes tableside for guests. We are a family owned business and the idea behind Meze was to create a fun and unique space where people could gather and enjoy amazing Greek and Mediterranean cuisine with a So Cal twist. We want you to feel at home with us, and our Meze or small taste menus are the perfect way to try lots of different dishes, and to share with friends and family. Our specialty dishes include: Cold Meze Hummus, Baba Ghanoush, Feta & Mixed Olives, Dolma Hot Meze Spanakopita, Calamari, Greek Tacos Plates Souvlaki - Filet Mignon, Pork, Seafood, Lamb Chops, Falafel, Meze Burger Weekend Brunch Bottomless Mimosas & Bloody Marys, Omelets, Spanakopita Benedict Specials Happy Hour Sun - Fri 3-6pm, Taco Tuesday, Wine Wednesday Meze is the perfect spot gathering for special event celebrations, relaxing dinners with family and friends, and for locals and tourists alike. GBOD Hospitality Group was founded in 2012 by brothers Raymond & Patrick Davoudi in San Diego with the opening of their first restaurant, Mezé Greek Fusion in the famous Gaslamp District. In 2014, the brothers had an opportunity to move & expand Meze to its current location in East Village. They also added two new partners, Joe Santos who has an extensive background in hospitality management & operations; & Aleko Achtipes, an experienced chef & back-of-house operations manager.
