Pastry Chef / Owner, Dara Wong, hopes to challenge locals and travelers alike to look beyond what they might consider typical "mountain town" food. Business Owner

Shift Owner Dara Wong has a passion for pastry and a penchant for perfection, and she further developed both while working for some of the most notable names in the industry. A business management graduate of the prestigious University of Denver, Dara boasts an impressive resume thanks to time spent alongside culinary legends such as Bobby Stuckey and Lachlan Mckinnon-Patterson of Frasca Food and Wine (Boulder, CO). She has also worked for guest chefs Daniel Humm of Eleven Madison Park's (New York, NY) and Marc Vetri from Vetri (Philadelphia, PA). Prior to launching Shift, Dara served as the general manager of Flagstaff's own Tourist Home Urban Market. A Division I swimmer for the University of Denver, Dara spends much of her free time in the water, hiking and hitting the slopes.
