The Tides Tavern offers the greatest house-made food and finest beverages in the western hemisphere, but only to persons over 21 years of age. Please be prepared to show I.D. It seems that you can't mention Gig Harbor to anyone in the Puget Sound without them following up with "The Tides Tavern." The two just seem synonymous, and great tavern food is probably the reason why. From The Tides' world famous clam chowder (made fresh daily) to our beer-battered fish n chips, Classic and Signature pizzas, sandwiches, burgers, salads and fresh local seafood, it's no wonder that The Tides remains a dining mainstay after 45+ years in business. We have been awarded with Best Outdoor Dining, Best Bar, Best Lunch, Best Neighborhood Bar, Best Fish & Chips and listed in the Top 13 Seafood Restaurants in the US, Best Seafood Dives in America and many others. We offer a great selection of wine, beer and spirits. On tap we have a rotating selection of craft beers as well as three draft beers brewed exclusively for us by local favorite 7 Seas Brewery. Our beer bottle selection includes something for everyone's palate, including gluten free, and a few non-alcoholic choices. History

Established in 1973.

Since 1973 the Tides Tavern has been offering great food, friendly service, and an amazing waterfront deck. From our famous clam chowder to our original fish and chips recipes, sandwiches, salads, NW salmon, steaks, pizzas and delicious burgers, it's no wonder the Tides remains a dining mainstay in beautiful Gig Harbor. Come on in, find a seat and let your server help you. We offer a great selection of wine and beer, as well as a full bar. Our diverse range of beers on tap, carefully selected wine list and seasonal cocktails provide refreshment as you relax and enjoy our fine establishment.
