History

Established in 1996.

Family owned and operated, Royal India Restaurant & Catering is synonymous with exceptionally well-crafted Indian/Pakistani fine-dining. Mr. Rashid sought to preserve and promote the richness of the Indian subcontinents culinary traditions in Seattle, Washington in the early 90's, at a time when Pakistani and Indian food was not considered haute cuisine. At Royal India, we specialize in an array of cuisines--from South Indian to North Indian, Indo-Chinese and fusion. Vegetarian and vegan options are a plenty with highlights such as chole-bhature, and tandoori-paneer tikka, for more unconventional options, go for the nutella naan! Our aim is to unite the rich flavors and experiences from all over the Indian subcontinent with the style and energy that is the Pacific Northwest!
