History

Established in 1989.

Miyabi is an authentic Japanese restaurant and sushi bar owned by Manager Hisako Shirakura, sushi chef Masa Ishikura, and Japanese professional baseball player Masao Kida. We are located on South Center Parkway next to Value Village. Heading into our fourth year with this current ownership, we have been improving Miyabi Restaurant. A few of the highlights are weekly live music, major interior renovations, themed events with new specials every month, a bilingual and friendly staff, and a menu expansion. Along with our wide variety of consistently fresh sushi and bento dinners, we have added a "Japanese Tapas" section full of appetizer portion options so that our customers can taste unique dishes that are hard to find in Washington. We also have a full bar with innovative cocktails, local Washington wines, imported beers, and imported sake from Japan to pair up with our delicious food. Our most recent menu addition is the happy hour menu full of good deals.
