History

Established in 2015.

Lionhead was opened by James Beard Award winning chef Jerry Traunfeld in summer of 2015 next door to Poppy, his restaurant featuring seasonal cuisine highlighted with herbs and spices. Jerry has always had a love for Chinese cuisine and saw the need for a quality Chinese restaurant on Seattle's Capitol Hill. He is especially interested in the bold and exciting flavors of Sichuan province.
