History

Established in 2007.

Wallingford is our flagship store, which opened in 2007. As one of our busiest stores, it also has the largest team to make sure everyone gets a personal experience. Today we have a total of 4 stores. We fix thousands of devices every month for customers in Chicago and the Seattle area, as well as devices for schools all around the country. Our core philosophy of having great people on our team providing excellent customer service remains paramount as our company grows, and we look forward expanding and growing alongside new technology for years to come. Our Wallingford team is led by our Store Manager Siawash, with his team of technicians Daniel, Abdullah, Brian, and Muna.

The basics: I graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 1996 with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. After 3 years working in Minneapolis doing factory automation, I decided to quit my job and go back to graduate school.In 2002 I received a Master's Degree in Computer Science, spent a year lecturing on operating systems at the UW-Madison, and then went to work for  as a software developer for Microsoft in Redmond, WA.After 4 years of corporate life, I decided to head out on my own. After about 18 months of building websites for small businesses, I started JCD Repair (at the time it was actually called Mobile Device Repair). Life has been fantastic since then as we've grown the business from just me working out of my apartment to 3 stores, 13 employees, and we should do almost $1 million in sales this year.In short, I love this business!
