History

Established in 2008.

Gainsbourg's namesake is French musician and artiste Serge Gainsbourg. A heavy drinker, chain-smoker and unrepentant womanizer, Serge reinvented French pop music in the 1960's and 70's and ushered in a generation of Euro-cool. When searching for inspiration for our French lounge, we could come up with none better than Monsieur Gainsbourg.
