History

Established in 2011.

Frost Me Sweet began in a tiny 200 sq ft coffee shack by a local husband and wife team. While the wife baked in the back, the husband would sell coffee & cupcakes through the drive through. In 2012 the demand for Frost Me Sweet's confections drove the owners to a new location. Finding a quaint historic building in the Richland Parkway fit FMS perfect. The owners, with their combined 30+years of restaurant experience decided to add a Bistro to their delicious confections and thus Frost Me Sweet Bakery & Bistro was born. Since the Parkway opening in April 2011 Frost Me Sweet has placed third in "Chef's on Parade" in 2012, and placed first in the same competition in 2013, 2014, 2015 and 2016. They have also managed to win "Best Cakes in Washington State", "Top 10 Wedding Cake Vendors in the United States", "Top 10 Wedding Cake Vendors in the World", and "Best Cake Designer in Washington State" in 2012-2016 by the Wedding Expert Awards.

Combining her passion for baking & artistry with her insatiable sweet tooth Megan Savely created Frost Me Sweet in 2009 with a mission to make not only the best looking cakes, but the best tasting as well. Megan & husband Jason started their business with Sweet Beans; a small 200 square foot coffee & cupcake shop where Megan created her works of art. In April 2011, Megan and Jason, using their combined 30 years of restaurant experience, opened "Frost Me Sweet Bakery & Bistro". It has been a perfect marriage of Megan's love for art and cake, combined with Jason's passion for fresh, delicious food. FMS is an eclectic mixture of hand-crafted food & desserts paired with a great local beer & wine menu. FMS sources locally as much as possible, uses organic & raw product, and changes their menu seasonally to do so.Frost Me Sweet believes in the definition of community as "sharing, participation, and fellowship".
