A self-taught home cook who became interested in the art of cooking when she lived in a trailer park in Florida in the 90's, Kimmie Spice, owner, learned to cook while her children were napping."I'd watch cooking shows like The French Chef, Yan Can Cook and The Frugal Gourmet, but my favorite show was Cookin' Cajun with Justin Wilson," Spice recalls, "The chef was a Louisiana humorist and storyteller, and I thought he was brilliant! He'd add a little wine to food and then a little wine to the chef by taking a big chug out of the bottle and saying, 'Ooowee! I Guar-On-Tee!' That show taught me that cooking doesn't have to be taken so seriously. It can be riotous fun, simple and delicious all at the same time. That is exactly the atmosphere I strive to create at Biscuit Bitch, a little trailer park southern hospitality combined with fun, eclectic comfort food."
