About the Business

Specialties

Tony's family has been in the restaurant business for years, so when he and his wife noticed that there wasn't any Laotian food in their neighborhood in Dallas, they decided to start their own. At Zaap Kitchen, we serve the delicious cuisines of both Laos and Thailand. Step up to our counter and peruse our menu of curries and noodles -- everything's made to order before your eyes, so our fresh ingredients and authentic spices can truly shine. If you already love Thai food and you're looking for a new spin on it, we're here, ready to serve you our family's favorite dishes.

History

Established in 2018.

Coming from a family of restaurateurs, Tony and his wife were no strangers to running a kitchen, and they eventually decided to open a place of their own. Zaap Kitchen is bringing Laotian food to Dallas alongside Thai street food favorites. With fast, modern counter service and fresh, made-to-order dishes, they're fitting in perfectly in such a young, evolving city. They offer online ordering, pick-up, and delivery, so getting your favorite dishes is as simple as picking up your phone.

Business Owner

Tony grew up cooking and serving his family's traditional recipes, so when he realized his neighborhood in Dallas had no Laotian options, he decided to take matters into his own hands. He and his wife have crafted a menu of delicious Laotian and Thai dishes that seamlessly combine fresh ingredients and authentic flavors. He loves introducing his community to the amazing cuisine of Laos and connecting with his neighbors over delicious food.
