History

Established in 2010.

Vince Young Steakhouse, situated in Austin, Texas, opened in 2010, a joint venture between former NFL quarterback Vince Young and hospitality veterans Laura McIngvale Brown and Phillip Brown. Young, an iconic figure in Texas for his heroics as a University of Texas quarterback, especially the memorable 2005 national championship win, transitioned his legacy from the gridiron to gastronomy. Partnering with the Browns, they fused Texas warmth with upscale dining, establishing a venue revered for its prime steaks and sophisticated ambiance. Over the years, this locally-owned gem has championed Austin's culinary scene, becoming a top dining choice for both residents and visitors, exemplifying excellence in cuisine, service, and the rich tradition of Texan hospitality.
