Established in 2011. In the summer of 2011, Velvet Taco opened their doors with the goal of provided high-quality, valuable, gourmet tacos to guests in Houston. Velvet Taco has quickly become a popular taco joint. Awarded Top Ten Best in Restaurant in D Magazine, the tacos speak for themselves. Guests can enjoy fresh, gourmet tacos made with local ingredients and flavors like Rotisserie chicken, white queso, roast corn pico, cilantro, smoked poblano salsa on a corn tortilla. You can also stop by any day of the week for some back Door Chicken action. For $20, you can get Whole Rotisserie Chicken, 2 Sides of Elote Style Rotisserie Corn, 6 Corn Tortillas, Roasted Corn Pico De Gallo and Korean BBQ Sauce!
