Our seafood offerings are purchased from Katies's Seafood Market fresh daily. Often times two deliveries per day. Fresh gulf seafood right from the boat. We Purchase the finest quality meats and produce available. We also produce the Finest Home Style baked goods on the Island. Cookies, Cakes, Pies, and Pastries all By Hand and from Scratch. We have a full line of Artisan breads baked fresh daily in our Hearth Oven. We Specialize in Friendly Informal Service.

History

Established in 1999.

Since 1999 the Sunflower Bakery and Cafe has been serving amazing food created from scratch with the finest ingredients available to its happy customers. Since their humble beginnings as a small bakery on 16th and Church that served a few bakery items, cold sandwiches, and their famous tomato basil soup, they have always drawn a large crowd. In a couple of years their success allowed them to open a restaurant at a second location and offer an amazing dining experience that matched their delicious breakfasts and lunches. By focusing on food they want to eat themselves the owners Lisa and Harry Blair won over the crowds and before long there were long lines of loyal customers waiting to eat at both places. Needing more room they combined both businesses at their current location at 512 14th St.
