History

Established in 1984.

Two brothers and New Jersey natives, Mark Wicks and Donald Wicks, moved to Houston, Texas in 1984. They had a dream of opening a New York style bagel shop and brought their dream to Houston. Many years later I think most who have tried The Hot Bagel Shop would agree that they delivered a quality New York style bagel with some Houston flare.
