We have one goal here at The Big Bib BBQ: serve up some of the best barbecue in Texas. To make that true Texas-style dish, we slow cook our meat every day for up to 14 hours. Our aged oak and mesquite woods give the barbecue that classic taste our guests love. Using a slow, time-intensive process gives our meat that prized smoke ring: a sign of expertly cooked barbecue. And don't forget to try our locally loved side dishes with favorites like our sweet potato casserole and banana pudding. To us, barbecue is more than just a meal -- it's a dining experience that brings family and friends together, which is why we cater events and get-togethers, too!

History

Established in 2010.

After nine successful years as a catering-only business, The Big Bib opened its doors on historic Austin Highway in San Antonio with one goal in mind: serve up some of the best barbecue in Texas. Since that day in 2010, we've taken great pride in offering a family-friendly experience and serving up award-winning barbecue to the Lone Star state.
