Started in old grocery store, Prairie House has refined its own style of Texas cooking . The new building down the street continues what Prairie House is all about, Quality, Value, and a good time!

Prairie House Restaurant opened its doors in 1989 and has been hugely successful. The owner, Jim, has been in the restaurant business for 42 years with an emphasis and passion for great BBQ. Jim began his quest for great BBQ 32 years ago with pit bosses Howard Black, Rob Gates and Warren Clark of Clark's BBQ Tioga. Today Prairie House is on the cutting edge of great Texas cuisine.
