Come join us at the newest coffee and wine bar in South Austin... We serve Texas Traders organic, fair-trade, locally-roasted coffee and have organic, soy, and oat milk available for accompaniment. We carry a wide selection of domestic and imported wines, beers, and other beverages as well as a variety of appetizers and snacks. Receive a complementary cookie with your coffee or complementary olives with your wine or beer! Our locally-owned family business is located on South Lamar near Oltorf. We have an expansive outdoor seating area resting under a beautiful old oak tree. Indoors, the ambiance is cozy and intimate. We love four-legged visitors as well.

Jackie and Spiros K.

Business Owner

Spiros and Jackie opened Opa Coffee & Wine Bar in January 2010.  They aren't new to the Austin area and have several kids who have gone to the University of Texas, Texas A&M University, St. Edwards University, and Lake Travis High School.  Their four-legged children include Mason, Zeus, and Zoe - one weimaraner and two great pyrenees.  They currently live in East Austin, although Spiros is originally from Greece.  He grew up near Athens in Peireas and is a huge soccer fan (Olympiakos) and even played professional in his younger days.  Jackie is an avid cook and traveler, and sometimes when you're lucky you get to taste some of her best creations at Opa! Jackie and Spiros like to support the community, schools, and the Goodwill.
