Jeanette, owner of Mikki's has been recognized by the Houston Chronicle, Superbowl in 2004 , Majic 102, KTSU, and 97.9 The Box. This established restaurant has also had the phenomenal opporunity to work and cater delicious food to music artists such as Billy D. Williams, Bobby Womack, Beyonce, Mike Epps, Bow Wow, P.Diddy, 50 cent, Usher, Gerald Levert, Kem, John Legend, and Flava Flav just to name a few.

Daughter Jeanelle has continued her education through Business Management and currently oversees Mikki's daily operations. Son Craig has ironically followed in his mother's footsteps by beginning his career with the US Postal Service, but with his continued education in Multimedia Web Design, together Mikki's will ensure great food, Houston history, as the family-owned business continues to grow.
