Authentic Italian Cuisine. Established since 1983, this family owned restaurant, serves a wide selection of traditional italian dishes. Made from scratch pastas (never overcooked) pizzas (simply a must have), and their signature outstanding tomato sauce. They offered great appetizers, like fried calamari, eggplant parmigiana, and a wide selection of italian wines and beer. For the main dish, there are plenty of options to choose from: chicken, veal, steak, or seafood; stuffed with cheese, mushrooms; topped with Alfredo, marinara, garlic, butter, tomato or meat sauce. Staying truth to tradition its one of the highest qualities at Little Italy; from the checkered tablecloths to plenty of Italian atmosphere, and very very good food.

History

Established in 1983.

The Visocaro family, originally from Palermo "Sicily" started their first steps introducing the flavors of the traditional Italian dishes in New York city with a modest pizzeria - "Paola's Pizza Restaurant". After 12 years of tiring cold and snowy weather, they decided to move to a warmer land and San Antonio was the right choice. In April 1983 Little Italy opened its doors with authentic New York style traditional Italian cuisine.

The Visocaro family began their dream with the late Angelo Visocaro in 1983. Their dream started back in New York city with a modest pizzeria - "Paola's Pizza Restaurant".After 12 years of tiring cold and snowy weather, they decided to move to a warmer land and San Antonio was the right choice. In April 1983 Little Italy opened its doors with authentic New York style traditional Italian cuisine.This coming April, Little Italy celebrates 40 years of hard work and dedication serving traditional Italian food to the San Antonio community.
