History

Established in 2018.

We started doing "pop-up" BBQ in 2018 at different breweries across DFW and purchased a food truck in 2019 to begin serving food at a brewery in Arlington. Since then, we’ve opened our brick and mortar restaurant downtown Arlington with a full menu Wednesday thru Sunday. Note: we’re open at 11 am until sold out and do not take reservations or orders over the phone.

After years of dreaming of a way to share his passion for food with others, Brandon Hurtado created Hurtado Barbecue Co.To pay homage to his heritage, Hurtado infuses Mexican-inspired flavors into central Texas-style barbecue to create the perfect blend of smoke and spice. Since March 9, 2019, Hurtado Barbecue has been permanently located at Division Brewing in Arlington and will be open every Saturday at 11 am until sold out.
