We are owned, run, managed and cared for by a real English Father and Son - just as it should be, no corporate-backed imitations here, with the added benefit of a wonderful, Culinary-trained, Executive Chef Partner, rocking everything out from scratch! We offer a kid-friendly environment where you can get Great British Dishes, like Beer Battered Fish n Chips, Shepherds Pie, Bangers and Mash, Beef and Ale Stew, ALL made from Scratch. You can now also get a Pint of your favourite tipple and many more pretty exclusive beers, or a nice glass of wine, or signature Cocktail, try our Tardis inspired "Whovian" We have Big screen TV's constantly tuned to all your favorite sports. We are family orientated, and also offer, by far the biggest/most diverse gluten-free menu in DFW. Come in and see what makes us unique, authentic, and fun.

History

Established in 2011.

The Owner of "The Pond" arrived from the homeland of London, England, back in 2006. With 23 years of family skill in restaurant ownership and management and Lee's skills at...well, he was a Professional soccer player many, moons ago, it was natural to open a restaurant and a Joes Pasta n Pizza - a great little family-place that had been trading for 18 years with great Pizza/pasta and not alot of love and care to Customers. Lee knew he could change that with a heart to serve. Joes was saved, and expanded before Lee chose to follow his heart & "From Across the Pond" was born in December 2011 - still family focused, but now with THE best Fish n Chips in DFW, home-made Sheperds Pie and Beef Stew, Bangers and Mash, Bubble and Squeak, a delicious Sunday roast, complete with Yorkshire puddings, and much more. Given the Celiac disease in their family, a GLUTEN-FREE MENU of depth & quality had to follow, & did 6 months later Come and "Cross the Pond" - many have & return again and again
