Crazy Alan's Swamp Shack

About the Business

Specialties

The Swamp Shack has a variety of food: salads, chicken, sandwiches, burgers (bacon, jalapenos, gator and crawfish mixed in the meat), steaks and specializing in fresh gulf seafood. We have several cajun items, Gumbo, Jambalya, Etouffee and Crawfish. 95% of our items are made from scratch. For example, it takes 12 hours to make our black roux for our gumbo. We take a lot of pride in our food. My favorite item is the Shrimp & Oyster Diablo; a shrimp, oyster and 1/2 Jalapeno wrapped in bacon deep fried and basted in BBQ sauce. "If you like food, I guarantee you'll love our food" Alan (aka Crazy Alan)

History

Established in 2010.

I've worked in the Clear Lake area for 30 years in the restaurant and club business. 14 of those years at the famous Seabrook Beach Club. I love good food and cajun is one of my favorites. My goal is to give you some unique items. That do not just taste like everyone elses food. Thanks Alan!
