Cooper's Old Time Pit Bar-B-Que is located in the historic Fort Worth Stockyards, just a stone's throw from Billy Bob's Texas, the world's largest Honky Tonk. Cooper's is honored to be known as the Best of the Best in the barbecue business, and we are home of the original world-famous "Big Chop." Sink your teeth into a plate of beef ribs, brisket or sausage, or opt for our chicken, turkey or pork loin. Our famous Big Chop is the best you'll ever taste, and our mesquite coals, giant pits and array of mouthwatering meats are sure to satisfy any barbecue craving. With a large indoor dining area, a fantastic patio and our Llano Room that holds up to 300 guests for private events, Cooper's is the perfect barbecue venue for any occasion. We also offer off-site catering for any type of event, from corporate luncheons to wedding rehearsals and birthday parties.

History

Established in 2010.

Cooper's has provided its Pit Barbecue to thousands of hungry diners over the years, dating all the way back to 1953. Our Fort Worth location is a perfect replica of our mothership Llano restaurant, with a large main dining area and an incredible indoor/outdoor patio with a great view of the Fort Worth skyline. We are proud of the great reputation we have earned in just 3 short years in Fort Worth, and look forward to serving you for many more to come.
