History

Established in 2011.

Chama, the word for "flame" in Portugese, is the essence of an authentic, Brazilian Steakhouse. This "flame" also, describes the "passion" the gauchos, Brazilian cowboys, have for their culture and tradition. As part of their heritage, Gauchos would gather around the churrasco, the fire pit or grill, at the end of the day after tending cattle to eat and share stories. At Chama Gaúcha, guests have the same gathering and sharing experience with outstanding service. We invite our guest to experience "The Taste of Southern Brazil." The original Chama Gaúcha first opened in San Antonio then Chicago and now Houston.
