Black Walnut Cafe is a destination for every appetite and any occasion - we're your place, at your pace! By blending the easygoing efficiency of counter service with the warmth and upscale flavor of fine dining, we offer our guests an elevated dining experience that makes the most of their time, whether they're craving a quick coffee or a leisurely retreat. Classic comfort with an original flair can be found across our menus for breakfast, weekend brunch, lunch and dinner. We offer an extensive menu from handcrafted sandwiches to fresh salads, yolky eggs benedicts to savory signature entrées, and chilled local craft brews to swirly rows of award-winning gelato. Breakfast is served 7-11 a.m.; lunch and dinner is served from 11 a.m. to close; and brunch is served 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. on weekends. While we are a polished, fast casual restaurant, we also offer full-service dining at our bar along with a wide selection of beer, wine and cocktails. For those days when you're on the run or in a hurry, you can order online for to-go service. And from work functions to luncheons, cater greater by letting us bring the party to you. We offer catering at each of our Dallas locations to make any gathering a delicious gathering!

History

Established in 2002.

With an inventive, extensive menu and a put-you-at-ease atmosphere, Black Walnut Cafe emerged in 2002 as a contemporary destination for hungry Houstonians, and we've been savoring the fun ever since. We've expanded across Texas, with locations in Houston and Dallas/Fort Worth. Since our creation we've had the continued desire to create a space where casual comfort welcomes a cultivated palate -- your go-to place for a quick bite, a leisurely brunch, or simply just because. We serve fresh, savory food made with quality ingredients. Across our menu, you'll find personality and presentation, with a balance of thoughtful familiarity and classic comfort - for an experience our guests can delight in time and again. You can find us in the Houston area around Cinco Ranch, Conroe, Memorial, Rice Village and The Woodlands; as well as the Dallas/Ft. Worth area including Allen, Colleyville, Coppell and Frisco.
