Avenida Brazil is a family-owned and operated churrascaria steakhouse whose goal is to make your dining experience unforgettable Our meal is comprised of two parts. First, we have our wonderful salad bar filled with over 30 fresh items, including our award winning bruleed bacon and lobster bisque. Each item is made fresh daily for your enjoyment. Our Second part consists of our gauchos serving 16 different cuts of meat tableside for a truly authentic churrascaria feel. When you are ready for the meats flip your coaster from red to green to signal our gauchos to your table. Featuring our house special Picanha, Lamb Chops, Filet Mignon and Shrimp accompanied by our Award Winning Au Gratin Potatoes, Garlic Rice and Caramelized Bananas. When you are feeling full flip our coaster from Green to Red to let our gauchos know you need a break. If you somehow have room for an amazing dessert, we have nine different options for you to add on for an additional cost. We suggest adding on our many Wines from Argentina, a Cairpirinha or a Xingu, a Brazilian black beer. For non-alcoholic beverages we suggest our housemade brazilian limeade!

History

Established in 2008.

We are a local restaurant in Houston with restaurants in Clear Lake, Southwest Houston and Woodlands. The name Avenida Brazil was inspired by Executive Chef Vanderlei Bernardi, who was born and raised in the South of Brazil. Vanderlei has a deep passion for sharing his Brazilian culture through authentic Southern Brazilian meat grilling styles and famous welcoming Gaucho (cowboy) service to his home in Houston. In Brazil, many cities have a main street named Avenida Brazil. On this street, friends, families, and couples gather to connect and unwind at esteemed restaurants, bars, and gathering places. It was on Chef Vanderlei's hometown in Southern Brazil where he became inspired by the highest quality and dedication the traditional restaurants would put into their steakhouses. Our new name pays homage to Vanderlei's dream of creating an eating experience to match the highest quality authentic steakhouses on Avenida Brazil in Gaucho country.

Vanderlei is the Executive Chef of Tradicao Brazilian Steakhouse. He grew up in the South of Brazil on the farms where he would grill beef over an open flame with his family. His goal is to create a fine dining family alternative to the other Brazilian steakhouses in the Houston area. We offer high quality steaks, good pricing, and excellent service. He brings to the Webster location 20 plus years of experience in the Churrascaria concept.
