History

Established in 1976.

Sweeping the restaurant's intimate dimensions with warm smiles, the gracious staff adds excellent service to the perfect setting. In this unique atmosphere, the comfortable design boasts a soothing view of the shimmering Little Pigeon River, where tables offer an exciting vantage point for a memorable dining experience. A Gatlinburg favorite, The Peddler is literally built upon tradition. The restaurant is constructed around the C. Earl Ogle cabin, the home of a descendant of one of Gatlinburg's first pioneer families, with material from four other original home sites used to complete the structure. Families are returning for generations, making the Peddler Steakhouse their dining destination in the Smokies. We hope you and your family will do the same.
