History

Established in 2017.

We opened at the bottom of the historic L&C Tower on November 1, 2017. Deacon's New South is part of the A. Marshall Hospitality Group which includes Puckett's Gro. & Restaurant, Scout's Pub, Americana Taphouse, and Hattie Jane's Creamery.

Andy Marshall began his restaurant career in 1998 when he bought Puckett's Grocery in Leiper's Fork, TN. Since then, he has grown the company to include 9 restaurants in the Middle TN area and Chattanooga, and 2 ice cream stores. Andy is passionate about making people smile with excellent hospitality, food, and beverage.
