Corky s BBQ specializes in slow-cooked, Memphis-style barbecued meat and ribs. The restaurant uses both open and closed barbecue pits with hickory chips and charcoal to cook meats at low temperatures. Its menu features pork shoulder, chicken, sausage, beef brisket, tamales and spaghetti. Corky s BBQ serves fries, cole slaw, baked beans and potato salad as side items. The restaurant s desserts include fudge pie and peach cobbler. It sells party packs and bulk items, as well as caters special events for businesses, churches, schools and civic organizations. The interior of Corky s establishments showcase barn wood walls, neon signs, polished brass and aged brick. The restaurant was established in 1984 and has two locations in Memphis.

Don Pelts had a simple idea in the early 80's..cook authentic Memphis BBQ in a fun, 50's setting with waiter service, but also allow the customer to have a quick and speedy drive thru service. The rest is BBQ history!
