Located just off the Parkway on Apple Valley Road and across from the Little Pigeon River we offer a place to sit back and relax while enjoying country cooking. History

Established in 1987.

Applewood Farmhouse Restaurant was developed in 1987 when the Kilpatrick family home was transformed into a family eatery. Over the years guest demands led to a major addition ... The Applewood Farmhouse Grill . The Grill was constructed in 1995 to help manage the overflow of guests and three to four hour wait to be seated at The Applewood Farmhouse Restaurant. Other additions included the "Orchard View" dining room which was built in the early 90's and the "The Pantry" which became an extension of the "Country Kitchen" in 2012. Although changes and renovations have happened over the years, the overall feel has remained the same. Today Applewood is known as more than a restaurant ... it's a destination and for many a tradition.

Trevor has been a part of the Applewood family for over 32 years. He started his career as a busboy and worked his way into managing multiple restaurants. A native to the area, Trevor grew up in Cocke County where he spent time off-roading in his jeep and hiking. Whether you are a guest visiting us for the first time or a part of our staff, Trevor cares about your experience with Applewood. Trevor looks forward to meeting you on your next visit to the Apple Valley!
