Established in 1895.

Youell's was destroyed by a fire January 22, 2013. The brand new Youell's blends the old with the new to distinguish the restaurant as "the" place to enjoy the largest selection of fresh seafood in the region. After graduating with a degree in Graphic Arts and working 5 years in the industry for an international corporation, I had an opportunity to buy into the landmark seafood restaurant in 1987.Whether a trained chef, a graduate of a hospitality management school or someone new to the business - the only path to success is a thorough understanding of all facets of the business.  I trained with outstanding chefs in every position over the years, until I was as proficient as my best employees.While I have appreciated the uniqueness of Youell's, I've also stewarded the restaurant through the decades making changes that have not only kept the establishment relevant, but have expanded it's popularity.What started as a converted house with 36 seats in the dining room, and customers taking a number and waiting in line, has evolved into an upscale destination.
