This restaurant is the concept of B DeFrancis and Chef Jessica Bauer, and is making a statement in Western Pennsylvania. We strive to be environmentally responsible by using sustainable, organic, and local products, and our contemporary, modern approach has earned us a Four Diamond rating by AAA. For larger groups or simply dinner for two, ask us about our private dining rooms. We offer a glass-enclosed dining room and options for extra privacy, whether you are looking for an intimate setting or a business presentation. History

Established in 2014.

Altius is the second restaurant concept from B DeFrancis and Chef Jessica Bauer. Their first restaurant, Bistro 19, a local favorite in Mt. Lebanon, opened in 2006 and continues to enjoy great success. When the old Georgetown Inn became available, they believed it was their destiny to open a new fine dining concept on Mt. Washington. They embarked on building a space around the idea that dining is so much more than just eating. As Executive Chef & Partner of Altius, Jessica Bauer's approach to contemporary American cuisine is refined and modern with a respect for the integrity and quality of her ingredient driven menu. Your first visit may be for the view from Mt. Washington, but you will return again and again to enjoy one of Pittsburgh's premiere fine dining experiences. With modern surroundings and higher hospitality, every part of your experience has been thought of and designed with care.
