Business Owner

Jason is the chef and co-owner of plant. He graduated from The Natural Gourmet culinary school in Manhattan and began his career at Candle 79. After moving to Asheville, he was the head chef and kitchen manager of The Laughing Seed for several years before joining forces with his partners Leslie Armstrong and Alan Berger to create plant. His vision included a small multi-cultural menu with carefully chosen items that are seasonal, organic, and locally-sourced.
