History

Established in 2010.

A Charlotte landmark transformed from a Garage to a Restaurant. Anyone who has grown up in the CLT knows the building with the Volkswagon on the roof painted like an American flag. Originally an Esso Gas station then Triple "G" Automotive a VW repair shop now Pinky's Westside Grill. Chef Greg Auten along with Andy Cauble accepted the task of remodeling this gas station into a familiy friendly enviroment that welcomes everyone.

Currently A partner and General Manager of Pinky's Westside Grill with Greg Auten Chef(The Penguin Drive-In 2000-2010 Penguin Grill) and loving it!Andy Cauble's Career began in 1991 and has worked for such businesses as  McDonald's, Po Folk's, Subway, Rocky's Brick Oven Pizza, Fat City, Pewter Rose and The Penguin Drive-In.  Experienced in any  job from Bus boy, Dishwasher, Prep guy, Rock N Roll Pizza Maker, Bartender and even General Manager.  After the success of The Penguin Drive-In he became a partner in the Penguin Grill, located in the Alley Cat and closed due to becoming a private club.
