We specialize in REAL FOOD. That means we cook everything here. Just like Mama used to do it. If you can remember how it used to be in your mamas kitchen, remember how you used to feel? That's the feeling we would like to bring back for you. How do we plan to accomplish that you might ask? You see there is one special ingredient that all mamas put in their food and we got our hands on it....that's LOVE. You can be sure its in each of the dishes we serve. All the food is fantastic but the WINGS are the best in town! We make them fresh to order. All the sauces are made in-house and BIG in flavor. We have an extremely hot wings called the GHOST wings. Lets just say those are for the adventurous eater who like it HOT! And we recently finalized our newest flavors known simply as General Tso wings and Honey Bacon BBQ wings (SPECIAL). We are always developing more fresh made wings flavors for our customers. When you need a home cooked meal, the way Mama or Grandma used to do it. My Mama's Kitchen is the place to go.

History

Established in 2012.

Owned by Ms. Berrie McKissic and operated by her sons. The business was established to continue and expand the service to the community. Ms Berrie, a local preschool owner for over 20 years, has served the community with quality childcare. Now she is bringing back real food to the neighborhood. Come on in and get a taste of what it used to be like when people cooked with love in the food.....that's the secret why the food at My Mama's Kitchen is so good.

My Mama's Kitchen is owned by Ms. Berrie. She is a one of a kind woman, and I don't say that because she is my mother. Customers often come in and ask, "where is Mama?" Well, she's at the school taking care of the "cherns" (that's real southern for children). That's Years to Remember Preschool on Little Creek Road not far from the kitchen. If you are lucky, you might see her here in the kitchen, as she often stops by for a bite to eat. You just have to meet her to know her.
