Miller's Waterfront specializes in fresh local seafood prepared in a variety of ways. Known for our jumbo lump crab cakes served with a roasted red pepper remoulade as well as our flounder topped with lump crab, diced tomatoes and a citrus hollandaise.

History

Established in 1982.

Miller's Waterfront opened in 1982 by the Miller Family. It is now operated by the second generation, their daughter and her husband. The restaurant was badly damaged in August of 2011 when Hurricane Irene came through town. The building was then renovated and reopened the following Spring.

Business Owner

Bryan & Whitney met in 1996 while attending UNCW.  They graduated in 1998 and moved to the Outer Banks, (Whitney's hometown) to operate Miller's Waterfront Restaurant for Whitney's parents.  After managing the restaurant for several years, the couple purchased it from the Millers in 2007.Bryan and Whitney reside in Nags Head with their two children, Schuyler & Gavin.
