History

Established in 2005.

Johnny's Pizza was established in 2005 at the corner of Jenks Road & West Williams St. They began serving the Apex, Cary & Morrisville markets with outstanding New York Style Pizza's, Gourmet Pizzas, Made to order Subs and Italian Dinners, and of course, Our Famous Chicken Wings. In 2013, Johnny and his wife, Katie, decided to "upgrade" the look and menu of Johnny's. They sold their old, hole in the wall pizzeria, and built a brand new restaurant in the Apex/Cary area! After serving loyal customers for years Johnny and Katie set their sights on another location on the corner of High House and Davis Drive. The new location is a bigger, more modern version of the same family style pizzeria the Cary/Apex area has absolutely fallen in love with. We are proud to open this brand new location with a great atmosphere, larger menu, fast delivery and a huge outdoor patio dining area. Come and check out the new Cary location in Stone Creek Village! Since discovering the pizza business at the age of 13, Johnny always had a feeling he would one day own his own restaurant. Throughout high school and college (where he graduated from The Ohio State University), Johnny continued his passion for working hard in pizzerias. During his travels working and living in Pennsylvania, Ohio, New York and North Carolina, Johnny perfected a recipe of his own. Johnny's Pizza was about to be born. In 2005, after about a year of diligent planning, Johnny opened his first pizzeria in Apex, NC. In 2013, After years of serving happy customers, Johnny and his wife, Katie opened another pizzeria in Cary. Shortly thereafter, in 2016, a second Cary location! Johnny and Katie use only the freshest local ingredients, house made dough, 100% mozzarella cheese.. and the BEST service in town! Welcome to Johnny's Pizza!
