We are the only Authentic Japanese restaurant and Sushi bar in Wilmington, NC. We offer only the best and freshest fish and seafood on the market. Come see us for an Authentic Japanese experience! **NOTE** If you are reading this description, please take note that we will only hold your reservation for 15 minutes. After that, you forfeit your reservation. Our apologies for this, we can not hold tables past 15 minutes as this does not help with our other wait times. Thank you for your participation and understanding in this.

History

Established in 1999.

Genki was started in 1999, by a Japanese couple. They retired and offered their business to the new owners to carry the torch for excellent food and customer service. The only thing that has change since then is the growth in business. Now, it is better to have a reservation for your table so you wont be standing at the door!
