We are best known for our North Carolina style barbecue, our fresh limeades, and our home-made ice cream cones. Besides these three items, we are also known for our authentic curb service year round in your car. Bring your kids and don't worry about having to chase them around if you stay in your vehicle.

History

Established in 1904.

Our ancestor Abe Doumar invented the ice-cream-cone at the Saint Louis World's Fair in 1904 and subsequently ran a chain of ice cream stands which stretched from Coney Island to Jacksonville FL. He opened up here in Norfolk in 1907 with brother George at the helm, at Ocean View Amusement Park and later branched out to our current location in 1934, adding sandwiches to the menu so as to operate year round. We continue that tradition today.
