Cafe Monte is known for offering affordable, high quality French fare exquisitely prepared to order. Our classic French-country favorites, served all day, include fresh pastries, salads, sandwiches, quiches, and crepes. We also have a full breakfast menu. In addition, please enjoy our bistro service that features mussels, steak and pommes frites, rotisserie chicken, and other specialties served in a casual and comfortable European setting. Cafe Monte has recently added a private dining room that seats up to 48, and can be utilized in any way to become the perfect place for your next event! For any information on reserving the private dining room, please email our catering manager at [email protected]! We'll be happy to begin planning with you! History

Established in 2008.

For nearly 12 years, Cafe Monte has been offering breakfast, lunch and dinner seven days a week. Our goal has always been to be your neighborhood "Escape from the Everyday." With our value-driven menu, farm-to-table specialties and gourmet approach, we make quality French food accessible to all.

With 30 years hospitality experience, Monte Smith has been a team leader in some of the highest quality national F&B operations. A graduate from The University of Texas with a BA in International Studies and History, in addition to earning a Masters in International Marketing Management from The American Graduate School of International Management (Thunderbird), Smith has been involved in multiple facets of the industry.Monte began his hospitality career at the Hotel Crillon in Lima, Peru.  Following his first international assignment, he landed at The Mansion on Turtle Creek where he began his transition to Food and Beverage.  Following graduate school, the Palm Management Group hired Monte to open restaurants in Mexico.  After returning to the United States with the Palm, his next assignment came in the club industry at Quail Hollow Club in Charlotte, NC.Returning to his passion, Monte opened Cafe Monte French Bakery and Bistro in 2008.
